Year 1 Remembrance Day

Year 1 Remember...

During Remembrance Day, children in Year 1 took the time to reflect on why we commemorate this significant event.

They looked at artifacts from a real life soldier and discussed why they are important. The children showed great respect and empathy. 

We then took part in two minutes silence.
