School Closed -Christmas Holidays

School will close to all children at the end of the day on Friday 20th December 2024 for the Christmas break. We re-open to welcome everyone back on Monday 6th January 2025. 


If you are worried about a child and wish to speak to someone urgently, please contact Doncaster Local Authority Safeguarding Team on 01302 737777 or at weekends call 01302 796000.


If there are any urgent concerns about a child's mental health the duty team can be contact on 01302 796191. 


Any information required for school staff or the office team can be emailed to admin@balbycentralprimary.co.uk and will be picked up as we return back to school.

School Day and Opening Times

 

General Information 

At the start of the school day we welcome families through the main entrance on Littlemoor Lane.

At the end of the school day we open both gates on Littlemoor Lane and Stevens Road. 

We ask parents and carers to wait outside classroom doors on the playground. 

Total hours provided in the school week 32 hours 55 minutes

0840 Doors open to welcome children into their classrooms for registration

0850 Gates close to the playground 

1510 Gates open for the end of the school day

1525 Gates close to the school grounds 

Nursery 

1150 Morning nursery collection from Stevens Road 

1215 Afternoon nursery drop off at Stevens Road 

School Clubs 

1615 All children attending after school clubs collected from the main school entrance
