Year 6

Year 6 have been working incredibly hard this half term. We have began to plan our designs for our DT project and we are creating our own patchwork blanket from recycled materials. We have used the work of the Canadian Red Cross from both World Wars as our inspiration. 

In writing, we have created explanation texts to expain the effects of climate change on our world. These will be sent to local businesses around Balby to give them ideas to help them limit their carbon footprint. 

This week we have shown great maturity with our practice SATS papers and we have been applying all of our skills from this half term to show what we can do!
